To elevate the degree of openness in Lhasa, expand the brand influence of "Invest in Tibet, Choose Lhasa First", and further advance the high-quality development of Lhasa's open economy, a platform for investment promotion, cultural exchange, and open cooperation in Lhasa has been specifically established, aiming at attracting more foreign investment and encourage Lhasa enterprises to seek outbound investment opportunities.
Taking advantage of the 2024 Lhasa Shoton Import Expo, the Investment Promotion Bureau of Lhasa and the Nepal-China Chamber of of Commerce & Industry have developed an exchange and cooperation mechanism in an effort to deepen international economic and trade cooperation, and achieve mutual prosperity and progress. Through amicable consultation, the two parties reach a cooperative framework agreement.
This cooperation agreement marks a significant step in strengthening economic ties, promoting investment opportunities, and fostering cultural exchanges between Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region, particularly Lhasa.
